Celebrating the 50th anniversary of the National Congress of Italian-Canadians with the “Italian Journey Across Canada”

Get on board the trip of a lifetime! The “Train” is a breathtaking odyssey that symbolizes the vibrant tapestry of Italian culture woven into the Canadian landscape. Starting in Vancouver, this unprecedented adventure will wind its way across the country, stopping at iconic locations to celebrate the contributions of Italian-Canadians.

See Canada as it should be seen, as we return to the place where so many Italian immigrants began their Canadian adventure: Pier 21 in Halifax.

Would you like to come aboard for a part of the trip, or even better, the whole journey?

The train ride is divided into three parts. Please note that the NCIC has reserved cabins and berths on the CANADIAN and the OCEAN trains, exclusively for this journey.

The first segment runs from Vancouver to Toronto on the CANADIAN train.
Next, you’ll get a seat on a regular train from Toronto to Montreal.
Finally, you can board the OCEAN train from Montreal to Halifax.
