Festa Italiana | The Italian Weekend | Sep 14-14, 2024

The Italian Canadian Cultural Association is once again opening our doors to the community for our annual two-day Festa Italiana.
 
Join us for authentic Italian cuisine and music, along with many ways to experience a little taste of Italian culture and language. The Festa Italiana delivers Italy to Halifax in an experience that the entire family can enjoy! Attendees will have the opportunity to enjoy presentations, wine tasting, games and face-painting for the children … Along with the star of the weekend - The Italian Food!
 
Run entirely by volunteers, the ICCA has become the city’s ‘Little Italy’ creating a space for Italian-Canadians to congregate, along with many others who want to experience “La Bella Vita!”. More than 120 volunteers spearhead this event every year: an event that was created by past generations and continues to be appreciated by the youth of today.

We welcome all members of the community to join us at the Italian Canadian Cultural Association of Nova Scotia located at: 2629 Agricola Street in the North End of Halifax NS

GNOCCHI NIGHT: SEPTEMBER 13th, 6:00 -9:00pm

Gnocchi Tricolori (pesto, pomodoro, formaggi) with Roll and Salad. BBQ Sausages, Arrosticini and Desert (Cannoli, Crostoli, Crostata and Tiramisu)

Wine Tasting at 7:00pm (prepurchase tickets only $50/person, includes light food accompaniment. Limited to 12 people.)

Raffle Tickets, 50-50 draw, Kids activities including our special “Andiamo a Pescare” (fishing game) and several ways to experience Italian culture.

FULL ITALIAN FARE: SEPTEMBER 14th, 12:00-9:00pm

Lasagna, Cannelloni w/spinach & ricotta, Pizza Margherita, Penne with tomato sauce, Meatballs, Sausage w/Polenta , Arrosticini, Sausage on a Bun, Rolls, Salad + Desserts

Wine Tasting at 3:00 pm and 7:00pm (pre-purchase tickets $50/person, includes light food accompaniment. Limited to 12 people.)

Join us on the second Floor for sessions that run once every hour. Learn to speak a little Italian in one of the free language classes being offed.
